Justice

Short description: being judged, fairness, justice, cause and effect.

Astrological utensils: Libra

Number: 8

The Justice is pictured in a form of a woman, who is sitting on a throne in a simple red robe, without ornaments, wearing a crown, and holding a sword in her right hand and scales in her left hand. Behind the woman’s back we can see a curtain and next to her, on the left and right, there are two columns.

In eastern mysticism, the Tarot card Justice would be considered as a path of karma – the path on which the individual has to face the consequences of his own actions. Justice requires harmony, settlement, and complete impartiality. On this path, the contemplator begins to discover the nature of the true, inner “I”, getting rid of the illusory aspects of external appearances.

What does it mean? This card represents balance, honesty, and impartial justice. Pulling out this card means that justice will prevail in your family or business life, and it can also indicate a beginning of a new cycle of balance and harmony in your family or your work. It means that you will get what you deserve. In terms of personal relationships, you may have to assess your honesty in front of your partner in an emotional and sexual sense, as you will definitely expect the same sincerity in return.

The meaning of an inverted card is different. It may show that you are currently suffering from injustice or loss of something, and are also entangled in legal difficulties. You were betrayed because of prejudice. The one you know feels uneasy, but can not change the current course of events.

What other meanings to keep in mind? The Justice card is a symbol of justice, fairness, and balance. It also means taking responsibility for your life and promises that the decisions you make or will make in the nearest future will be right. If there are legal matters to be dealt with, it can mean that the outcome will be good – the only thing you need to do is to weigh many factors in order to make a reasoned and thoughtful decision. Deliberate carefully and wisely before reaching any conclusions.

What does this card tell about different aspects of your live

Work

In this area, The Justice means that we have to be very clear about what and why we are doing in order to clearly decide how to behave further. It also says that we can expect a just and friendly attitude to ourselves, but if we try to achieve by deceit or some other dishonest way, then failure is assured. Therefore, in business, this card warns you about the need to comply with the rules of the game and pay all your “bills”.

Consciousness

This card shows that the period of a kind of “sobering up” and a return to a purely business level has come. At such a time, we tend to try to understand the accumulated problems, to form a clear and unbiased opinion about them; here everything is decided not by emotions and feelings, but by our logically rational mind.

Love and Relationships

The principle of justice and balance plays a very important role here but this card does not always mean harmony and rest. However, the principle in relationship is still the same – you get what you deserve, meaning that you will get the same attitude you give to your partner.
